Robocop #9

RoboCop and a determined female partner stand back-to-back in a tense standoff, weapons raised against an encircling threat, while a bank of surveillance monitors looms behind them — it's a cover by Carlos Magno that crackles with the gritty, street-level energy this series does so well. Issue #9 of BOOM! Studios' "Dead or Alive" arc brings together the creative talents of writers Joshua Williamson and Dennis Culver with artist Alejandro Aragon and colorist Marissa Louise for what promises to be another hard-edged chapter. Fans of dystopian crime drama will find plenty to love here.
