Robin finds himself outnumbered and airborne in this December 2000 issue, as the cover — penciled by Pete Woods and inked by Jesse Delperdang — shows the Boy Wonder dodging two heavily armored purple-and-gray mercenaries amid an explosion of shattered glass and crackling energy. The tagline "Faster Than a Flying Ninja!" says it all: Tim Drake is clearly the most agile figure in the frame, angled for speed while his bulked-up pursuers crash through the chaos behind him. With Chuck Dixon scripting "Wrong Place, Wrong Time," the setup promises exactly the kind of fast-paced, underdog action that made this era of Robin such a fun read.
