The Kid himself charges forward on his spotted white horse, firing a pistol mid-gallop while a massive battle between riders erupts across the rocky terrain behind him — the sheer energy of that chaotic background makes the whole scene crackle. With a story titled "Ransom" inside, this is a fine example of the Western comics that kept dime-spending readers coming back month after month.
