Rick and Morty Kingdom Balls #3
In "Rick and Morty Kingdom Balls [Part Three]," Rick and Morty find themselves trapped in the realm of Man vs. Society, where Julio—once a fellow Ball Blader and now a leader of a community fueled by collective dreams—turns against Rick for destroying his vision. With the help of Morty’s unshakable, innocent hope, Rick fights back, but not before Julio hurls them all into the unknown Shadow World of Man vs. Self. Written by Josh Trujillo and Ryan Little, with dynamic art by Jarrett Williams and colors by Hank Jones, this issue delivers high-stakes emotional stakes and surreal worldbuilding, all capped by a striking cover by Williams.

Julio, who presides over the realm of "Man vs. Society, a world dedicated to the power of community and how fierce it can be when it turns on you", turns that "society of dreamers" against Rick for shattering Julio's dreams during their mutual past as Ball Bladers. With the help of "young and blindly optimistic" Morty's "pure and powerful, ignorant dreams", Rick is able to defeat Julio and reset the realm of Man vs. Society to its original and pre-Julio state - but not before Julio launches Rick, Morty, and Jerry "...into the next realm against [their] will", the Shadow World of Man vs. Self.
