Rick and Morty: Ever After #4
In "Rick and Morty Ever After Part Four: Happily Ev'rick After!", writer Sam Maggs and artist Emmett Helen deliver a delightfully chaotic climax to the medieval misadventure, as Old Wizard Rick and his sword-wielding, time-pressed Morty face off over how to stop King Jerry. With Morty swayed by sorceress Jessica and Rick clinging to his ego, alliances shift among Ser Silke and Ser Marius—while the duo’s creeping transformation into wood adds urgent stakes. Cover by Emmett Helen, this 2021 Oni Press issue closes the arc with a defiant rallying cry: "Everybody do what you do best."

Old Wizard Rick and medieval-clad Morty clash over different approaches on how to defeat King Jerry. Morty is influenced by sorceress Jessica, while Rick's own ego and stubbornness decide his approach. Ser Silke and Ser Marius are largely undecided, with the former ultimately going with Morty and Jessica, and the latter reluctantly going with Rick. As the arguments and individual plans unfold, Rick and Morty are slowly turning to wood, making time of the essence. They eventually find a way, with Morty resolutely declaring: "Everybody do what you do best."
