Nunzumel has taken control of "The Gray Earth", shaping it in his own image up to and including a "Nunzumel-looking" populace who believe in him as absolute. Rick and Unclefold sow the seeds of doubt among that populace, resulting in an overthrow of Nunzumel. Flushed with victory, and suddenly realizing that math and science can co-exist, the pair work together to create their perfect Math-Science World - complete with structures resembling geometric shapes and scientific implements. However, the peace and harmony are short-lived due to a sudden turn of events.
