Richie Rich Gems #6
In "Pirates!", Richie Rich faces a surprisingly toothy crisis: his last baby tooth has finally gone, and with it, the magic of the tooth fairy he once believed in. Now older and wiser, he realizes his parents might have been the ones leaving gifts, but he still can't resist hiding his gap to avoid embarrassment. A 60-cent comic in 1975, this lighthearted tale captures a moment of small, growing-up anxiety with a touch of whimsy.
