After Richie finishes refurbishing an old musket to contribute for a bicentennial association, crooks beam a ray on Richie that makes him turn everything he touches invisible, and turn them visible again if they collect $1 million in ransom. The crooks then realize they can turn invisible by touching Richie in order to steal money from a vault without being seen. But Richie's musket still works and spews glue and gold glitter on the crooks, exposing them to the police.
