After Lotta craves food again, and overdoses on the appetite-curbing formula a second time, Lotta continues pilfering fire hydrants, and she vows revenge on her doctor. Mr. Plump eventually gets into trouble with the law, and ends up in court, where a judge orders him to pay a sum of money to reinstall the fire hydrants.
