The hollow's ancient dread comes alive on this haunting cover by Savanna Mayer, where two terrified figures clutch a glowing lantern as grasping, bare-branched trees close in around them — and below, an upturned face emerges from the earth, a crimson plant sprouting from its crown in deeply unsettling fashion. Casey Gilly and Mayer's 2025 continuation of the Sleepy Hollow legend clearly isn't softening its gothic edges, and this second issue promises the atmosphere of dread runs as deep as the roots beneath that cursed ground. A genuinely striking piece of horror comics craft for fans who like their folklore with real menace.
