From the creative team of Dan Abnett, Andy Lanning, and Butch Guice comes issue #24 of DC's Resurrection Man, dated May 1999. Guice's cover pulls no punches: a menacing skeletal-mechanoid figure looms over a blue-caped, hat-wearing figure caught low in what looks like a desperate, defensive crouch — all set against a blood-red background that perfectly frames the tagline "Bad to the Bone!" It's a striking image that promises the kind of dark, kinetic energy this series consistently delivered in its late-'90s run.
