Resurrection Man #11
Part of DC's New 52 initiative, Resurrection Man #11 brings writers Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning together with artists Jesús Saiz and Javier Pina for "Lab Rats," a chapter that promises real personal stakes. Pete Woods' cover sets the tension perfectly: Mitch Shelley is ensnared by coiling, thorn-like tendrils and struggles to break free, while a white-haired figure in the foreground reaches toward him with an unsettling calm. The cover's own tagline says it all — this issue introduces Hooker, a one-time friend turned bitter enemy, and that charged dynamic is written all over both figures' expressions.
