Mordecai and Rigby stand in the park looking thoroughly unimpressed — rakes in hand, deadpan expressions firmly intact — while a colossal laser-firing insect creature tears through the sky above them, blasting a fountain area into a wall of fire and sending figures scattering in all directions. It's a perfectly Regular Show moment: world-ending chaos unfolding in a sunny park setting while our heroes react with maximum nonchalance. Christine Larsen's cover work captures that signature blend of cartoon charm and absurd mayhem that makes this KaBOOM! series such a delight, and with "Crystal Catastrophe" already two parts deep, things are clearly only getting weirder.
