Cullen Bunn and Danny Luckert's horror series delivers a genuinely unsettling image for issue #4: a serene Pietà-style statue — a robed figure cradling a limp body — is encircled by a massive, segmented centipede-like creature whose clawed limbs reach hungrily toward the sacred scene. The contrast between the classical, almost luminous stonework and the grotesque arthropod looming over it perfectly captures Regression's talent for wrapping deep dread in beautiful imagery. Marie Enger's pale, watercolor-tinged palette keeps the horror understated and all the more effective for it.
