Reggie and Me #23
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeReggie Mantle may be Riverdale's most self-impressed schemer, but this April 1967 issue captures his reputation perfectly — Veronica cheerfully tells Archie she doesn't hate Reggie at all, since she's got his picture "pinned on my wall," while the cover reveals that picture is actually a dartboard with Reggie's grinning face riddled with arrows. Up top, a pair of figures go tumbling off a skateboard with a satisfying "KRAK!," and a teaser inset promises an action-packed Evilheart thriller to round out the fun. Written by Frank Doyle with art by Bill Vigoda, this issue delivers the playful Archie humor and surprising superhero backup that made the series such a treat.
