In Reg'lar Fellers Heroic Comics #2, Bill Everett delivers a taut, early superhero tale where Harry crafts a bulletproof fabric from Translite to protect Bob, then teams up with Joyce to infiltrate the hideout of foreign invaders. There, they uncover a network of spies operating across major U.S. cities, poised to strike at key military targets. With Hydroman stepping forward to confront the threat, the issue builds tension through stealth and suspense—before a single escapee, Rocky Dawson, slips away into the shadows. Art by Bill Everett, with full creative control across pencils, inks, and lettering, brings the story’s wartime urgency to life.

Harry creates a fabric made of Translite for Bob so that he will be protected from bullets and the like, then, with Joyce in tow, returns to the hideout of the foreign invaders he faced in the last issue. He listens in on their conversation, learning that the invaders have undercover men at work in Chicago, Washington D.C., Boston, San Francisco, and New York, mobilized at key points and in possession of key military secrets. Hydroman makes himself known and battles the invaders, but one, Rocky Dawson, escapes.
