Red Sonja fills the foreground of this Amanda Conner cover with fierce green eyes and blade raised, her cascading red hair sweeping upward to reveal three ominous, glowing-eyed mummy-like figures looming behind her — a striking image that sets an appropriately eerie tone for "Chapter Eight: The Woodlands." With Mark Russell writing and Bob Q handling interior art and inks, colored by Dearbhla Kelly, this 2019 Dynamite issue brings a genuinely compelling creative team to the She-Devil with a Sword.
