Dynamite's Red Sonja #16 arrives with a genuinely unsettling cover by Lucio Parrillo — a gaunt, pale-eyed elder dominates the background like a looming specter while Sonja stands cloaked in teal, her fiery red hair cascading freely as she grips a staff topped with a glowing green orb. Lightning crackles through a blood-spattered sky, and the tension between the two figures gives the whole image a dark, sorcerous charge. Grønbekk and Geovani's 2024 run continues to deliver, and Parrillo's painterly craft makes this one hard to set back on the shelf.
