Little Beaver and Po-ko are trying to save the stampeding sheep from the storm and heavy rainfall. Po-ko rescues four coyote pups from drowning. The kids nurse the little prairie wolves for six weeks, but Po-ko wearies of Little Beaver's spoiling them, and wants them gone. On the way to drown them, Little Beaver has an inspiration. He sets up a booth alongside the new state highway: "PURE BRED NAVAJO WOLF HOUNDS--$ APIECE." They sell quickly to passing tourists. The sheriff pulls up in his sedan, demanding to see one of these purebreeds, but he's too late.
