After rescuing Alvin, Taleswapper heads down the mountain, leaving Alvin to follow Ta-Kumsaw. Ta-Kumsaw gathers his forces and heads to Detroit to ally with the French against the American army. However Maurepas has removed Napoleon from leading the French and refuses to ally with the Indians. The Americans overrun the French and sack Detroit. Ta-Kumsaw joins the battle trying to save the French but his forces are destroyed and he is apparently killed. Alvin heals Ta-Kumsaw who heads south while Alvin heads home.
