Red Hood and the Outlaws #36
Burning Addiction" blazes across the bottom of this 2015 New 52 entry, and the cover by Stephen Segovia makes the stakes feel visceral — Red Hood crouches in a storm of fire and smoke, clutching his helmet with gloved hands while an enormous, snarling, venom-laced creature looms over him from the inferno. The contrast between Hood's contained, almost meditative posture and the savage beast rearing behind him sets a tense, brooding mood that writer Scott Lobdell and artist R. B. Silva clearly lean into for the "Venomous" storyline. A compelling visual chapter for fans following Jason Todd's rough road through the New 52.
