"With Evil in Your Heart" follows a man raised in poverty who becomes hardened and cynical about love, rejecting happiness in favor of pursuing wealth and status. After a chance encounter with a woman named Sue, he begins to soften, and they share an intimate evening together; however, his past cynicism resurfaces when he discovers a photograph of her with another man, causing him to leave her at the dormitory. Later, at a sorority gathering, he learns that the photograph was from before their meeting, and the other man was merely a friend, but by then Sue has moved on, leaving him to regret his actions and the loss of their relationship.
