Felice was adopted by the wealthy Hackwood family as a baby, and is expected to marry their son Bonner. On a skiing trip, Felice falls in love with medical student Tucker but tells him she’s going to marry Bonner. Bonner is mentally ill as the result of a childhood accident, and while on their honeymoon he attempts to kill himself and Felice. They both survive, and Tucker operates on Bonner’s brain, curing his illness. Felice has her marriage to Bonner annulled, and weds Tucker. Bonner marries his nurse.
