This is an anthology issue featuring multiple stories. "The Impassable Leatherneck" follows Dr. Goldberger's campaign against pellagra, a deadly disease that starts as a mild rash and progresses to insanity and death; when forty percent of pellagra sufferers in a ship's camp stop contracting the disease after following his orders, authorities open an asylum in the Pellagra-ridden region under his direction. "Spy Oddities" presents various espionage techniques used by government agents, including methods for hiding information in shoe heels, eyeglasses with microfilm cameras, and coded messages embedded in hollowed shoe leather. "America's Eagles: The Air Cadets" tells of young student pilots destined to battle for liberty, following their training in the new knights of the air as they prepare to fight to keep democracy alive.
