Rawhide Kid #16

The Rawhide Kid walks a razor's edge in this 1957 Atlas Comics oater, with cover art by Fred Kida placing him square in the middle of a saloon standoff — guns at his sides, outnumbered by armed outlaws on the floor and on the balcony above, while a speech bubble warns him not to reach for that Colt. The tagline "He Shares His Saddle with Danger!" says it all, and the bottom banner promises a "Desperate Decision!" that raises the tension another notch. Writer Don Rico and artist Dick Ayers deliver the interior adventure, making this a fine ten-cent slice of Wild West drama.
