Marvel's notorious asylum looms in the background of this unsettling cover by Kyle Hotz, which brings together three deeply menacing figures: a howling werewolf restrained in heavy chains and a straitjacket, a pale and sinister bald figure with an eerie glowing eye, and a sleek, blue-skinned figure perched ominously above them all. The composition perfectly captures the dangerous population housed within Ravencroft Institute for the Criminally Insane — a place where the threats are very much still alive, even in captivity. With Frank Tieri writing and Angel Unzueta on interior art, this 2020 series continues to make Marvel's most infamous institution feel genuinely threatening.
