Paul Ryan's cover for Ravage 2099 #2 pulls no punches — the wild-haired, chain-wielding Ravage dominates the scene mid-leap, baton raised and expression ferocious, as he tears through a cluster of armed opponents against a gritty urban skyline. A gun-toting figure in the foreground scrambles while another adversary looms in the background, making the whole composition crackle with kinetic tension. Stan Lee's futuristic dystopia was already firing on all cylinders by this January 1993 issue, and the cover's tagline — "Madness Unleashed!" — feels entirely earned.
