The four Rat Queens ride hard across an open hillside — three on horseback and one sprinting ahead with crackling magical energy swirling from her hands — and Tyler Jenkins' cover captures the squad at full, purposeful momentum. From the red-clad spellcaster blazing a fiery trail in the foreground to the mounted trio behind her (banner streaming in the wind), there's a clear sense of a crew with somewhere urgent to be. Kurtis J. Wiebe and Roc Upchurch's beloved fantasy-adventure series was firing on all cylinders by issue eight, and this cover makes a compelling case for jumping aboard.
