Range Rider pursues a criminal known as "The Polka Dot Kid," who has robbed the Granite Gap tax office and is identified by his distinctive polka dot face mask. When Range Rider learns that a traveling salesman may be connected to the outlaw, he works with the local marshal and a rancher named Andrews to track down the criminal. The story culminates in a confrontation involving rustlers, a stolen prize mare, and Range Rider's efforts to expose the true identity and capture the masked robber before he escapes into the winter wilderness.
