Ranchserien #87
In "Dødens søvn," a Mohawk medicine man named Sagamaw plots against white settlers, secretly poisoning a goblet and leaving it within reach of a settler named Tipi. When Tipi falls into the "sleep of death," his friend Dan takes him to the Mohawk camp, where Sagamaw claims ignorance of the cure but points to a neighboring shaman. As Dan follows Sagamaw through the wilderness, he’s led into an ambush—only to find the medicine man himself falls victim to the poison, revealing at last that the antidote lies in birch bark.
