Rampaging Hulk #5

When a "Free-For-All with the Fantastic Four" is promised right on the cover, Rick Leonardi and Dan Green deliver in full — the Hulk looms massively over the Thing as the two titans clash, while Mr. Fantastic, the Invisible Woman, and the Human Torch are caught up in the melee against a fiery backdrop. Glenn Greenberg's "Monsters in Our Midst" sets up a collision between Marvel's most famous bruiser and its first family that looks anything but friendly. Issue #5 of this 1998 series makes a strong case that sometimes the most entertaining battles are the ones between heroes.
