Ragman: Cry of the Dead #3

Issue three of this six-part DC miniseries finds Ragman at the chaotic center of a haunting cover by Joe Kubert, where the tattered, winged hero is engulfed by a swirling mass of ghostly, grasping figures — pale souls reaching out from a blazing orange and yellow inferno in every direction. The title Cry of the Dead feels absolutely earned here, as the imagery captures something genuinely unsettling: a lone, ragged figure straining against an overwhelming tide of the supernatural. Inside, writer Elaine Lee and artist Gabriel Morrissette continue the story with a chapter titled "Mange Moun!" — promising that the supernatural pressure bearing down on Ragman is far from letting up.
