Part 9 of "The Catalyst War" arrives in this oversized issue #29.5, and the cover makes clear the stakes are enormous — a dark-armored Radiant Black squares off in close quarters against a green-and-gold armored opponent, energy crackling at their fists, while a third figure stands in the fiery background between them. The tension radiating from that face-off, set against a blazing red cityscape, captures exactly why this Massive-Verse crossover event has been building so compellingly. With Higgins, Clark, Costa, Fernandes, and Carey all on board, this 2024 Image Comics entry is a fine moment to be reading the Radiant corner of comics.
