Radiant Black #22

There's something quietly striking about this cover — a lone figure in the Radiant Black suit perched high atop what appears to be a massive sign structure, takeout food and a drink in hand, with a glittering city sprawling endlessly into the twilight below. It's an oddly peaceful, human moment for a superhero, and the blue-drenched palette from Higgins, Ferigato, and Carey gives the whole scene a contemplative, almost cinematic mood. Issue #22 makes a compelling case that Radiant Black continues to find fresh, emotionally resonant angles on its hero's world.
