The special energy from Tribulus' mental lightning destroys Starro's spores, including the one controlling Vril Dox, freeing Dox to direct Tribulus once again. Dox uses Tribulus to drive Starro through a transmat portal to Psion where the villain is left to face Lobo and Smite. Later, as Rann recovers, Vril Dox recommits L.E.G.I.O.N. to the job of protecting the Vega sector.
