☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis collection brings together issues #8-14 of the 2010 R.E.B.E.L.S. series, continuing the story of Vril Dox and his ragtag team of cosmic outlaws as they navigate the political turmoil of the Vega system. The 'Strange Companions' arc introduces new allies and enemies, deepening the conflict with the Starro the Conqueror and the Psions, while testing the loyalty of Dox's crew. Written by Tony Bedard with art by Claude St. Aubin and Andy Clarke, this volume is a key chapter in the post-Blackest Night era of DC's space opera.
In "No Way Out," the R.E.B.E.L.S. face a desperate stand as Starro's forces tighten their grip across trapped worlds, including the Dominator homeworld. With alliances shifting and the Gil'dishpans caught between enemy factions, Dox and his team must flee a burning methane ocean after the Dominator Fleet Admiral makes a brutal tactical choice to contain the invasion. Written by Tony Bedard and illustrated by Andy Clarke, with coloring by José Villarrubia and lettering by swands, the cover by Andy Clarke captures the chaos of a planet on fire.
