Two Green Lanterns — one blue-skinned and humanoid, the other a reptilian alien creature — surge forward in full uniform against a chaotic backdrop of snarling monsters and a battered human fighter, their power rings glowing with vivid emerald energy. The cover's recruitment-poster tagline ("Enlist in the Greatest Force for Justice in the Galaxy — Join Now!") gives the whole image a rousing, in-universe propaganda feel that perfectly suits a cosmic team book. Written by Tony Bedard with art by Claude St. Aubin and inks by Walden Wong, this July 2010 chapter of R.E.B.E.L.S. promises galactic-scale action with a fresh Green Lantern twist, courtesy of cover art by Kalman Andrasofszky.
