From Reprodukt's R-24 anthology series, this 2000 German-language issue presents "Die schweigende Laute" — "The Silent Lute" — entirely crafted by Martin tom Dieck. The cover, also by tom Dieck, sets a quietly surreal mood: a cloaked figure in a fez leans over a boxy old television set, both standing on a small rug against a flat blue field, rendered in loose, expressive linework with muted red tones.
