In "Chapter One: Killer Instinct" from Quicksilver #3 (1998), Arkon’s world fractures when he finds Quicksilver and his Knights attacking Thundra. As the fight escalates, Thundra vanishes mid-battle, sending Arkon into a frenzy.
In "Chapter Two: Under Burning Skies!" from Quicksilver #3 (1998), Thundra returns to her war-torn world of Polemachus, where she's met with resistance from Cranus—still scheming to keep Arkon at bay—amid a tense standoff with a trio of mysterious Knights.
In "Chapter Three: A Rage of Lightning," Quicksilver and the Knights face off against Arkon in New York, where a clash of speed and storm-born power ignites a fierce battle. In "Chapter Four: Hero's Return" from Quicksilver #3 (1998), Quicksilver and the Knights return to the dying world of Polemachus, where they confront the desperate priest Cranus, who seeks to save his people by destroying Earth. As the threat is neutralized, Delphis chooses to remain behind to help Arkon, and in the aftermath, Quicksilver is separated from the group—only to unexpectedly reunite with his estranged wife, Crystal.
