“Son of Set Part 5”

In "Son of Set Part 5," Queen Sonja leads her forces in a desperate bid to reclaim her kingdom from Thulsa Doom, only to find the cult leader and the ancient god Set locked in a fatal clash—each undone by the other. As the dust settles, Sonja faces a haunting revelation: some of her women carry Set’s cursed offspring, and though the choice is agonizing, she chooses exile over execution. Written by Arvid Nelson and illustrated by Edgar Salazar, with colors by Adriano Lucas and letters by Simon Bowland, this pivotal issue deepens Sonja’s moral trials in a world where ancient evils never truly die. The cover, by Patrick Berkenkotter, captures the tension of a queen at war with both fate and her own conscience.

Sonja and her troops fight to take back her lands from Thulsa Doom and prevent him from returning the old god Set to Earth only to discover that Doom and Set have gotten into something of a squabble and finished each other off. When some of her female subjects turn out to be pregnant with spawns of Set, Sonja doesn't have the heart to kill them and banishes them instead.
