Queen Sonja reigns supreme on this striking cover by Lucio Parrillo, as the flame-haired warrior queen rears atop a powerful black stallion, sword raised high against a smoldering, volcanic sky littered with skulls. The painting's rich, dramatic lighting captures Sonja at her most commanding — a ruler who clearly leads from the front, not the throne room. With interior work from writer Luke Lieberman and artist Mel Rubi, this 2010 Dynamite issue looks every bit as fierce as the queen herself.
