PvP #38

Scott Kurtz's PvP: Player vs. Player serves up a wonderfully absurd cover scene for issue #38: a big blue creature dangles upside-down, binoculars in hand and tongue lolling out, while a wide-eyed blond character in the foreground looks decidedly unsettled by the whole situation. The playful tension between the lurking, drool-flecked watcher and the oblivious (or perhaps very much aware) human sums up the series' cheerful comedic energy perfectly. Fans of Kurtz's distinctive cartoon style will find plenty to enjoy here.
