Scott Kurtz's PvP hits issue #30 with a cover that pulls the whole cast into a swirling black-and-white time tunnel — three familiar characters tumble helplessly through the vortex, expressions ranging from wide-eyed panic to open-mouthed alarm, while the bold "Time Tunnel" logo leaves little doubt that something temporally chaotic is afoot. The cover's dizzying spiral design gives the whole thing a wonderfully retro, Saturday-morning-cartoon energy that suits the PvP gang perfectly. A fun milestone issue from Image's 2007 lineup.
