Lady Death invades New Alexandria to have it out with Purgatori who has stolen Nocturne's Grimoire from her. Purgatori gets the upper hand by infecting Lady Death with a blood plague. As Vandala returns to Winterhaven with the ailing Lady Death, Purgatori and Pagan prepare to use the grimoire for their own dark purposes.
