Based on the Activision video game that hit platforms in 2009, this WildStorm tie-in series brings the chaos of Alex Mercer's world to the comics page. The cover — penciled and inked by the interior team of Darick Robertson and Matt Jacobs — puts a hooded, dark-clad figure front and center, one fist raised and a terrifying organic blade erupting from the other hand as explosions and a crumbling cityscape fill the background, with what appears to be a military drone looming overhead. Writers Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti keep this adaptation feeling grounded and urgent, making issue #3 a compelling chapter for fans of the game and action comics alike.
