Dynamite's Mayan-apocalypse crossover event hits its fifth chapter, and Paul Renaud's cover makes a strong case for why this series assembled such a remarkable roster of characters. Red Sonja dominates the foreground, sword outstretched and red hair flying, while Vampirella looms behind her alongside a darkly-clad male figure, and two more allies — a dark-haired woman and a bespectacled man — brace themselves against a swarm of monstrous creatures at the edges. Looming above them all are the enormous, ominous faces of ancient supernatural threats, setting the stage for Ron Marz and Walter Geovani's penultimate chapter of this pulp-mythology mashup.
