Proof #4

From Image's creature-folklore series Proof, issue #4 promises an unsettling sit-down — the cover text cheekily announces that Proof and el Chupacabra will be "discussing matters over poisoned tea and raw hot dogs." Riley Rossmo's cover art delivers the mood perfectly: a wide-grinning, red-eyed monster looms large above, while three armed human figures — two flanking a large, bearded central man — stand their ground below. Rue Morgue's pull quote says it best: when Proof gets its hands dirty reimagining folklore, things get tasty.
