Prometheus: Life and Death #4
The final issue of Dan Abnett's Prometheus: Life and Death miniseries closes out on a cover by David Palumbo that radiates genuine menace — a skeletal, armored Engineer figure looms triumphant against a wall of fire and smoke, weapon raised, while two figures lie or crouch in the foreground, dwarfed by its presence. That tagline, "The Gods' Own Fire," does exactly the right amount of work alongside an image this charged. With art by Andrea Mutti and colors by Rain Beredo carrying the interior, this 2016 Dark Horse fourth chapter delivers a fittingly intense conclusion to its corner of the sprawling Life and Death crossover.
