The eighteenth volume of Christophe Bec's apocalyptic sci-fi series arrives with a cover by Antoine Carrion that sets an unmistakably grim tone: the Statue of Liberty lies half-submerged and toppled in murky, flooded waters, her severed head resting among dark vegetation while twisted metallic wreckage looms overhead.
