Peter Milligan continues his unsettling series at Boom! Studios with this striking second issue, featuring a cover by Javier Rodríguez that immediately signals something psychologically complex is at play. A woman's blue-toned face emerges inverted from churning ocean waves, her expression cool and watchful, while scattered across her features are cigarettes, a red lipstick, melting ice cubes, and pages of dense text — mundane objects made strange and weighted with meaning. Interior art from Raúl Fernández and colorist Giada Marchisio promises the same bold sensibility throughout.
